Description Day 1 Landed Kuala Lumpur Arrival transfer from KLIA to Equatorial Hotel K.L. Check in and at leisure. In the afternoon proceed with city tour. View a fine range of intricate Malaysian handicrafts Karyaneka. Pass through the busy center of going by Golden Triangle area cruise along Independent Square before driving through Chinatown. Drive up to the entrance of the King Palace،¦s and the river confluence at Masjid Jamek, the birthplace of Kuala Lumpur. Visit the National Monument dedicated to fallen heroes before stopping the Museum for an insight of the Country as a whole. You will see fine Moorish Architecture from the 19th Century in Sultan Abdul Samad Building and the Railway Station. Catch a glimpse of the National Mosque.
Day 2 Kuala Lumpur - Full day Genting Tour Kuala Lumpur is surrounded by hills and the most famous of these is the Genting Highlands. A 90 minutes drive passing through the rolling hills and greenery. Genting Highland is the highest international class highland resort at 2,000 metres above sea level and the only casino found in Malaysia, Singapore, or Thailand. Short stop at the fascinating Chin Swee Caves Temple. There is a large recreational park, with facilities designed for the family to take a break while enjoying the fresh, cool and crisp mountain are. There is the Amusement Centre, a 16-lane bowling alley, theatre and massage parlour. Enjoy a leisurely boat ride on the lake or take the kids on fun rides. For a Bird،¦s eye-view of the mountains, take a ride on a cable car. For the casino entrance, dress attire must be t-shirt with collar. No torn jeans, shorts or slippers & cameras allowed inside the casino. Transferred back to Equatorial Kuala Lumpur. Rest and free at leisure. Proceed to lobby for pick up transfer dinner at Sri Melayu Restaurant. (B,D)
Day 3 Kuala Lumpur - Full day Malacca Tour Malacca was once an important trading Emporium of the Far East due to its strategic spice trade route, and only 1½ hours،¦ drive from Kuala Lumpur. We،¦ll visit historical landmarks such as St Paul،¦s Church, the oldest Christian church in Malaysia, Bukit China, The largest 17th century Chinese cemetery outside of China and Sultan،¦s Well. We then proceed to the Portuguese Settlement, ،¥Porta de Santiago،¨, the ruins of St Paul،¦s church that still contains 17th century Dutch tombstones, Christchurch, and the ،§Red Square،¨, new home of the Malacca Museum. After lunch, we will visit the ،§Abode of the Green Merciful Clouds،¨ a.k.a the Cheng Hoon Teng temple, the only temple where you can find 3 majaor doctrines of Chinese belief; Taoism, Buddhism and Confucianism under the same roof! A final stop takes us to Malacca،¦s ،§antique street،¨ before we head back to Kuala Lumpur. Free and leisure at hotel. (B,L)
Day 4 Kuala Lumpur - Kuching departure transfer from Equatorial K.L to KLIA. Upon arrival at Kuching airport, meet and transfer to Kuching Hilton hotel for check in and overnight. (B)
Day 5 BAKO NATIONAL PARK - ( 6-8 Hours) Take an early departure for Bako National Park. Take a 35-minute drive to Bako Village. From the village, take a 25-minute boat ride to the park. Bako is one of the best places in Sarawak to see wildlife in a natural surrounding. The various types of animals that could be spotted at Bako include proboscis monkeys, silver leaf monkeys, long tail macaques, wild boars, monitor lizards, and numerous species of birds. Tropical rainforest ranges from mangrove to kerangas (heath forest), tropical swamp vegetation, cliff vegetation and beach vegetation. There will be hiking through jungle trails, and swimming in the sea by secluded beaches. Return to Kuching mid-afternoon. Overnight Kuching Hilton Hotel.(Schedule may depend on tide.) (B,L)
Day 6 SARAWAK CULTURAL VILLAGE and KUCHING CITY TOUR - (3 Hours) Situated just 32 km from Kuching is the Sarawak Cultural Village. This 17-acre site, nestled on the foothill of the legendary Mount Santubong, fronting the South China Sea offers an excellent introduction to local culture and lifestyles. A typical Sarawakian،¦s warmth and hospitality awaits you. Share the arts, crafts, games, foods and music of the seven major cultures of Sarawak. After touring the village, enjoy a multi-cultural dance performance in the village's own theatre. After lunch proceed for Kuching City Tour. Discover the charms of this riverine city established by Sir James Brooke, the first White Rajah of Sarawak. See buildings dating back to the days of the White Rajahs, ancient Chinese temples and colorful markets displaying the produce that first brought traders to Borneo. A visit to Kuching will not be complete without making a stop at the Sarawak Museum. Completed in 1891, the museum has an excellent collection of Bornean ethnological and archaeological artifacts and is reputed to be the best in South East Asia. Overnight Kuching Hilton Hotel. (B,L)
Day 7 Primate, Reptiles and Longhouse 0830hrs - Depart for the Semengoh Wildlife Centre (approx 30 mins), and observe the orangutans during feeding time. Proceed to Anah Rais, a peaceful Bidayuh village, where you can learn about the culture of the Land Dayaks, who were once headhunters. Visit the baruk (head house) where skulls can be seen. Return, proceed to Crocodile breeding farm and mini zoo that include birds and some animals endemic to Borneo. On the way back to the city, call in at one of the pottery factories. Return to hotel. Day 8 Departure After breakfast, free at own leisure until time for transfer to airport for flight departure out. (B)
